Evans Pennington

Evans was born and raised in Lexington, KY. He started working in the hospitality industry at age 18, and his second job was at Sal’s Chophouse, owned by the same restaurant group as Drake's. He took a twelve-year break from restaurants to work in the hotel industry before returning to Drake's. Evans served as a manager at Drake’s Hamburg in Lexington before moving to Drake’s Cool Springs. He was promoted to managing partner in 2024. When not working, Evans enjoys reading (around 1,000 pages/week!) and may be the only native Kentuckian who is a bigger fan of the NBA than college basketball.
